MBC's popular singing competition show "King of Mask Singer" has been cancelled for the episode of December 29 to provide continuous news coverage of the Jeju Air Flight 2216 crash.
The program, which was scheduled to air at 6 PM KST, has been replaced with emergency news specials reporting on the tragic accident.
Earlier today, at approximately 9:03 AM, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, arriving from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed while attempting to land at Muan International Airport.
