NewJeans showed their gratitude for Min Hee Jin during their acceptance speech at the '2024 Korea Grand Music Awards'.
On November 16, NewJeans picked up the 'Best Artist Award' at the '1st KGMA', which took place at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. The girl group expressed their gratitude for former ADOR CEO and current executive producer Min Hee Jin during their acceptance speech, saying, "We were able to get this far thanks to the love, support, and encouragement from everyone."
The girl group added, "We want to thank all the staff members who always help and stand by us, CEO Min Hee Jin, and the fans who came to cheer for us," shouting, "We are especially grateful to CEO Min Hee Jin, who has always supported us. We hope to continue working together for a long time."
NewJeans' speech follows their previous support of Min Hee Jin in the midst of her battle with HYBE as well as their recent demands sent to ADOR in a certified letter.
The '2024 KGMA,' hosted by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M) and organized by the KGMA organizing committee, is a major music awards ceremony that selects outstanding artists and music across various genres, including K-pop, trot, bands, and solo acts, based on their achievements throughout the year. The event is being held on the 16th and 17th at the Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.
