The '29th Golden Disc Awards' will take place next year from January 4-5 at the Mizuho PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan.
This marks the prestigious award ceremony's second time occurring in Japan, following the '26th Golden Disc Awards' at Kyocera Dome Osaka. Notably, the PayPay Dome is known for its massive capacity of 35,000.
The 'Golden Disc Awards' is known as one of South Korea's representative year-end award ceremonies. On day 1, the award show recognizes music from the past year which performed outstandingly on digital platforms. On day 2, the show recognizes physical album achievements.
Nominees for the '39th Golden Disc Awards' will be announced on December 2 KST, followed by attending artist announcements throughout December.
