Former Crayon Pop member ChoA, who recently revealed she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, updated her fans on her recovery.

In a recent Instagram post, ChoA wrote, “I’ve been discharged. The surgery went well, and I’m feeling great, so my doctor told me I could go home.” She added, “I was worried after reading others’ post-op stories, but thankfully everything went smoothly. I’m still walking slowly due to gas pain, but I’ll focus on recovering well at home. Thank you for your concern.”

Alongside the post, ChoA shared several photos of her time in the hospital. In one of the images, her husband can be seen staying by her side while working from the hospital room. Reflecting on this, ChoA expressed her gratitude, saying, “My husband is working here because of me. I feel so sorry and grateful. Let’s not come back here anymore.

In response, fans left comments such as, “Let’s focus on staying healthy now,” “Wishing you a full recovery,” “You’re going to be so happy,” and “Don’t be sick anymore.”

On October 14, ChoA had previously shared her diagnosis on Instagram, revealing, “I was diagnosed with cancer at 33. I found out I had cervical cancer last May during a prenatal checkup. I have another surgery coming up to preserve my fertility,” prompting widespread support from fans.

ChoA debuted in 2012 with the girl group Crayon Pop, known for hits like “Bar Bar Bar” and “Uh-ee.” In June 2021, she married a businessman six years her senior and is currently preparing to have a child.
