On October 9th at 6 p.m. KST, aespa will surprise fans with the release of their ‘aespa Special Digital Single: SYNK : PARALLEL LINE’ on various music platforms.

This special digital single includes four solo tracks, one from each member, which were first unveiled during their second concert. These tracks gained popularity after their performances, inspiring dance covers and challenges on short-form platforms. The official release is expected to draw significant attention.

Karina's solo track ‘UP’ is a hip-hop dance song featuring an addictive chorus and minimalistic track. The lyrics, which Karina co-wrote, express her confident determination to captivate everyone. 

Giselle participated in both the composition and lyrics of ‘Dopamine’, an R&B song that conveys a complex, bittersweet feeling of pretending to be unaffected by love while hiding true emotions.

Ningning’s solo track ‘Bored!’ is an R&B dance song with a unique topline and rhythmic track. The lyrics, which Ningning helped write, describe the hidden emotions of a relationship that starts intensely but ultimately becomes boring. 

Winter’s solo track ‘Spark’, which she also co-wrote and composed, features a refreshing EDM sound with a dreamy, sentimental vibe. The lyrics metaphorically depict the feeling of falling deeply in love, ignited by a small spark.

Additionally, ahead of their upcoming fifth mini-album ‘Whiplash’ set to release on October 21st, aespa unveiled teaser images and videos of Winter and Giselle at midnight on October 7th, showing their bold transformation in line with the intense atmosphere of their new songs.
