HYBE acquires a U.S.-based public relations firm

HYBE, South Korea's top entertainment agency, has quietly acquired a U.S.-based public relations firm.

According to HYBE's semi-annual report released on September 20, 'The Agency Group PR LLC' has been added as a subsidiary through a share acquisition.

Based in Santa Monica, California, The Agency Group PR is a private company specializing in public relations. It is now a subsidiary of HYBE America, HYBE's U.S. branch, with HYBE holding a 51% ownership stake.

The company's website highlights its services, which include messaging and narrative development, media relations, crisis communication and management, and digital and social strategy.

A representative from HYBE explained, "The acquisition was made earlier this year to enhance the public relations capabilities of HYBE America."
