EXO member Baekhyun shared how he has been providing financial support for his parents.
Baekhyun appeared as a special guest on the YouTube channel 'Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup.' During the show, Shin Dong Yup asked Baekhyun if he was affectionate with his family, to which Baekhyun explained that while he used to be full of affection as a child, his expressions of love changed as he grew older.
Baekhyun stated, "Rather than showing affection, I feel like I can do more realistic things for my parents, like taking on the role of a provider." When asked what he has done for his parents, Baekhyun revealed, "First, I gave them a house. I also change their car regularly, and I handed over everything I earned from my first three years of work to them."
He expressed his deep gratitude and love for his parents, explaining that since they lived frugally to raise him, it was only right for him to give back once he became successful.
When Shin Dong Yup noted that giving up three years' worth of earnings is no easy task, and asked whether Baekhyun would want to buy cars and watches for himself. Baekhyun humbly remarked, "I realized I didn't have time to use them because of my schedule. So, I gave everything to my parents instead."
