The second and final day of '2024 The Fact Music Awards' was held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on September 8, and girl group aespa came out on top, snagging the Grand Prize (Daesang).
In their speech, aespa thanks their fans, MY, for their support despite times when members weren’t feeling well, and express their gratitude for their hard work paying off.
Karina continues, “In return, we’d like to give spoilers about our upcoming song “Whiplash,” though we didn’t confirm it with our agency. It’s a song that’s fun and new like “Supernova.” We’ll continue working hard next year, so please look forward.”
The Daesung criteria are as follows:
-60%: Record sales based on Circle Chart
-40%: Judges’ scoring (The Fact’s Editor-in-chief Jung Jae Wook, Composer Park Geun Tae, Composer Jo Yeong Soo, Producer Ryan Jeon)
