In their appearance on comedian Kim Dae Hee’s youtube channel, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon and Minnie reveal that they almost debuted with the group name “Any Color”.
More shockingly, the stage names corresponding to said group would be created with a combination of their favorite color and animal, to follow in the footsteps of veteran boy group TVXQ’s four-character name format.
Their names were as follows:
Miyeon = Green Crocodile
Minnie = Pink Mouse
Soyeon = Yellow Fish
Shuhua = White Butterfly
Yuqi = Blue Sky
In other news, (G)I-DLE has been promoting their summer comeback for their 7th mini album ‘I SWAY’, with the title track “Klaxon.”
