Actress Moon Geun Young delighted fans by sharing her first selfie in about seven months.
On October 23, Moon posted on social media, writing, “Curly, curly, natural curls. I felt happy while drying my hair, so I took a selfie after a long time,” giving fans a glimpse of her recent life.
In the photo, Moon Geun Young showcases her signature clear eyes and youthful charm, making it hard to believe she is 38 years old. Her natural curls and playful highlights catch the eye, while her makeup-free face highlights her sharp features and defined jawline, earning admiration from fans.
Moon Geun Young began her career as a child actress in 1999 and gained widespread recognition in 2000 for portraying the young version of Song Hye Kyo’s character in KBS2 drama 'Autumn in My Heart.' She went on to star in hit films such as 'A Tale of Two Sisters,' 'My Little Bride,' and 'Innocent Steps,' earning the nickname “Nation’s Little Sister.”
In 2017, she was diagnosed with acute compartment syndrome, a rare condition, but through consistent treatment, she made a full recovery. After taking a break, she returned to the screen last year in Netflix drama 'Hellbound Season 2.'
At the 'Hellbound 2' press conference, Moon, who appeared slightly fuller-faced, addressed health rumors, saying, “I am fully recovered and very healthy now. I have gained a little weight, but I’m dieting while filming my ‘truth bomb’ videos. I hope everyone cheers for my diet success rather than worrying about my health.”
