Lee Hyori healed her inner child by painting her childhood.
On June 1st, Lee Hyori updated her Instagram with her paintings with the caption "huddled together." Her paintings show 6 figures, which seemingly represent her family members.
During her road movie-style variety show with her mother on JTBC, she revealed that she married her husband because she thought she wouldn't get into fights with him as much. She said she hated seeing her parents fight all the time growing up. "I'm still nervous now when I see my mom and dad together, feeling something might happen at any moment."
Her mother reminisced, "Six family members were living together in a small room next to the father's barber shop. I couldn't buy Hyori a new clothes once. She always wore hand me downs." She then thanked Hyori for financially supporting her family throughout.

I kinda get sad when I think about her never getting to experience being a mother, even if you feel like your too old to give birth (my grandma had a baby when she was 42) there's always adoption as well. but if she's happy that's all that matters.
