Actor Byun Woo Seok demonstrated his overwhelming brand power by ranking #1 in brand value rankings for all South Korean actors/actresses in the month of June.
According to the Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute on June 27 KST, Byun Woo Seok ranked #1 in this month's brand value rankings with a score of 14,441,257. This is nearly double the score earned by the 2nd place actress, Chun Woo Hee, whose score was 7,937,271. Actor Ma Dong Suk, with a score of 5,704,976, came in 3rd place.
Brand value rankings combine the scores of brands in areas such as consumer participation, media activity, communication, and community activity and allow businesses to evaluate consumers' views, interests, preferences, and responses using big data.
For the month of June, the top 30 South Korean actors/actresses in terms of brand value were Byun Woo Seok, Chun Woo Hee, Ma Dong Suk, Song Seung Hun, Lee Jung Jae, Kim Hye Yoon, Song Geon Hee, Noh Jeong Eui, Son Suk Goo, Wi Ha Joon, Kang Dong Won, Kim Hee Sun, Kim Moo Yeol, Ji Sung, Jang Ki Yong, Tang Wei, Park Ji Hwan, Go Yoon Jung, Park So Yi, Jung Ryeo Won, Soo Hyun, Park Sang Won, Lee Chae Min, Gong Yoo, Lee Hye Young, Ryu Joon Yeol, Lee Byung Hun, Song Joong Ki, Park Seo Joon, and Ha Jung Woo.
