iKON's Bobby to begin mandatory military service in June, enlistment date shifts from initial plan

In a shift from the initial plan, iKON's Bobby is set to commence his military service in June.

143 Entertainment, the group's agency, conveyed through an official statement on April 15 KST, "Bobby's enlistment date has been revised from May 21 to June 4."

The announcement also clarified, "There won't be any formal events held on the day of enlistment," and reiterated, "We appreciate your understanding that the admission process will be conducted privately to prevent potential safety issues stemming from overcrowding."

Previously, Bobby and fellow iKON member Chanwoo were slated to enter the training center for their military duties on May 21 and 27, respectively. However, with Bobby's enlistment pushed back by a month, Chanwoo will now commence his military service ahead of him.

Following their departure from YG Entertainment on January 1 last year, iKON signed an exclusive contract with 143 Entertainment.
