Actor Joo Ji Hoon is poised to make a romantic comeback to the small screen after a long hiatus.

Sources in the television industry have revealed that Joo Ji Hoon is currently considering the role of the male lead in tvN's upcoming drama series titled 'Love on a Single Log Bridge' (literal title). This drama, penned by Lim Ye Jin, the acclaimed writer behind hits like 'Love in the Moonlight' and 'The Tale of Nokdu,' and helmed by director Park Joon Hwa, known for his work on 'Because This is My First Life,' and 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim,' promises to be a heartwarming reunion romance.

'Love on a Single Log Bridge' tells the story of two individuals who were deeply in love during their school days but were forced to separate tragically due to family conflicts and a twist of fate. After 15 long years, they cross paths once again, rekindling their feelings.

Joo Ji Hoon has been offered the role of Seok Ji Won, the executive director of Seokdong Construction. In his youth, he fell head over heels for his classmate Yoon Ji Won, but their love story was marred by a grave misunderstanding. As time passes, he is reunited with Ji Won when he is appointed as the chairman of Dokmok High School.
