Han So Hee confesses that she didn't want to get rid of her tattoos

Han So Hee openly shared her thoughts about the tattoos she got before her debut.

On January 15, Han So Hee sat down with media outlet Wikitree for an interview, marking the end of the Netflix series 'Gyeongseong Creature.'

'Gyeongseong Creature' unfolds during the darkest period of spring in 1945, portraying the story of two youths navigating the shadows of greed and confronting monsters born from that very greed. Han So Hee takes on the role of Yoon Chae Ok, a character who, alongside her father, becomes a miner in search of her missing mother.

During the conversation, Han So Hee drew a parallel between herself and her character, expressing, "If there's something I desire, I pursue it without hesitation, regardless of the challenges.

After her acting debut in the 2017 SBS drama 'Reunited Worlds,' Han So Hee gained recognition and became a topic of conversation when several photos of her with tattoos surfaced. She revealed that she had removed these tattoos as she started her acting career, saying, "That was the beginning of my second life." This prompted the question: What has been the most daunting challenge in Han So Hee's life?

In response, she candidly shared, "I embarked on my acting journey after removing my tattoos. I had my own personal life, and I was reluctant to part with the tattoos; after all, I paid for it, didn't I?" Her sincerity was complemented by a playful moment as she exchanged glances with the staff, sparking laughter.

She further expressed, "Starting an acting career was incredibly intimidating for me. I had never studied acting formally or attended a school for it. Despite this, I found myself thinking, 'Am I really going to take the plunge into acting?' It was a path I had never envisioned for myself." She added, "If I didn't work hard (in this field), then I thought I would be trampling on the efforts of countless people who worked hard to be in this position."

When asked about something she deeply desired, she humorously responded, "It was getting a piercing. I really wanted one for two years. I kept telling myself, 'I’ll get one after this project ends.'"

She also confessed about the sense of responsibility she feels being an actress. She shared, "I feel the pressure to do well. I always tell myself I have to do well." She elaborated, "I feel that I am at the edge of the cliff but it's manageable. I believe that if I'm not good at what I do, then I should step down. For example, if I'm not good at cooking ramen, but I run a ramen store, I should reconsider," and underscored her belief in the importance of excelling in her chosen field.

Isn’t tattoo only a problem if is really visible or something? Like actress Gong hyojin has lots of tattoos but they are easily hidden. She even has finger tattoos that they cover with rings
