Shin dong Yup expresses outrage over malicious rumors

On the 6th, the YouTube channel 'Mary and Sigma' released the first episode of 'Super Market Sora' titled 'The Moment Shin Dong Yup Finally Reunites with Lee So Ra.

After 23 years apart, the two engaged in a heartfelt conversation. Shin Dong Yup, after a moment of hesitation, addressed the rumors surrounding Lee So Ra and the consequences of their past. He expressed his disbelief in the false claims related to a marijuana incident in 1999, stating, "It's an absurd story, and it's unbelievable that I would be involved in it."

In frustration, he added, "It's completely irrational. Even now, why would I take any forceful actions related to So Ra? It's truly absurd."

Continuing, he remarked, "It's so unbelievable that at first, I thought, 'This is ridiculous!' But it kept spreading. It's so unreasonable, and there's no way for me to control it when it's circulating in various places."

In response, Lee So Ra commented on the prevalence of such incidents in the era of social media, saying, "In today's world, even ordinary people are involved in social media, leading to many such incidents. These are truly false narratives, born out of imagination. I've received numerous inquiries from the media about such matters." She emphasized the importance of honest communication, stating, "What's the point of these stories? Ultimately, genuine communication is what we need most. Isn't the communication we have now more authentic than in-person meetings?"

Expressing her continued disbelief, she said, "Even though we're talking like this, it still doesn't seem real. Thank you for saying that."

Shin Dong Yup then offered an apology, saying, "I'm sorry for many things unintentionally. There are many things I genuinely regret because of such circumstances." In a light-hearted moment, Lee So Ra responded, "Then you can keep giving me gifts."
