Junsu appeared as the last guest for the first season of Jaejoong's YouTube show 'Jaefriend' and reminisced about their past before debuting in TVXQ.

During the talk show, they talked about their first impression of each other, and Jaejoong accused Junsu of glaring at him. 

Jaejoong brought up the topic when he asked Junsu if he had seen the 'Jaefriend' episode with Girls' Generation's Sooyoung. Junsu said he enjoyed the episode but pointed out, "I watched that clip. You said, 'Junsu glared at me'," as Junsu denied the accusation saying "Never," while waving his hands.

Jaejoong refuted and even reenacted the situation when he first met Junsu. He shared, "When there's a new trainee joining, people are like, 'Hello~, oh we're the same age. Nice to meet you'." Jaejoong acted as Junsu, who coldly stared at him and walked away without even saying hello.

Junsu burst out into laughter, denying it had ever happened. Jaejoong continued, "It was as if he was saying, 'either way trainees get kicked out during training session' (so no need to bother to say hello)."

Junsu defended himself by saying, "All the practicing singers are all our juniors, so some trainees were able to debut while many others left the company. When I start getting close/attached to them, they would leave." He continued to give his first impression of Jaejoong and shared, "Can I be honest?  As you know, you had piercings here and there and his gaze... right now it's a lot softer. And his personality got soft too."

He continued, "So it was hard to approach you." Junsu also revealed that when he first met Jaejoong, he thought they were the same age. He shared, "He initially introduced to me that he was born in 1986. At first, he acted like we were the same age. We spoke casually. But then three years later, he suddenly said, (he was older than me). It was so shocking to me."

Junsu confessed, "The most difficult thing after my debut wasn't the hectic schedules but it was being in the same room with you alone. Even if I wanted to say something, I didn't know what to call him. So, I stayed silent. It's not that I disliked him."
