A delay in processing brings the latest update for this week's 'Billboard 200' rankings on Wednesday night instead of the usual Sunday night, with NewJeans taking up the #1 spot!
According to Billboard, NewJeans's 2nd mini album 'Get Up' has officially landed at #1 on this week's 'Billboard 200' chart for the week of August 5. This marks the K-Pop girl group's first ever #1, plus their first ever entry, on 'Billboard 200'.
NewJeans now join BLACKPINK as the only two K-Pop girl groups ever to hit #1 on the main Billboard album chart.
Meanwhile, also on the 'Hot 100' chart this week, NewJeans scored a new peak with "Super Shy" rising to #48. The group's two other title tracks, "ETA" and "Cool With You", debuted on the singles chart at #81 and #93, respectively.
