Microdot makes a comeback in South Korea with a new album

AKP STAFF

Rapper Microdot returned to the music industry in South Korea following the controversy over his parents' fraud incident.

On July 27 at 6 PM KST, he revealed the tracks "Sensation" and "Mic On." This marks his comeback for the first time in two years since the release of the track "Get Away" in June of 2021.

Microdot's agency, Big Brother Movement, explained, "Microdot has been waiting for a long time and endured day to day through the messages of support sent by many people."

On this day, Microdot wrote on his social media, "It's been a while. Please look forward to a lot of good music."

Meanwhile, Microdot began gaining recognition through programs such as 'I Live Alone.' However, he was embroiled in a controversy when it was found that his parents had borrowed 300 million KRW (USD 265,385.94) from 14 people while they ran a dairy farm in Jecheon, Chunbuk, from 1990 to 1998 and fled to New Zealand without paying back the loans.

After stopping activities due to the controversy, Microdot moved to Vietnam to work as a producer. In 2020, he released his album 'Player' but was criticized for making a haste comeback despite the controversy involving his parents."

As he should, the fact that he was made out to be the devil because of the actions of his parents never sat right with me. Netizens truly are an evil bunch, well, the toxic ones at least.
