On May 17 KST, P Nation rookie boy group TNX celebrated its 1-year anniversary since debut with a special 'Quiz Show' broadcast.

On this day, the members of TNX confused fans during their introductory greeting, when they said, "All the way up! Hello, we are The New Six!".

Fans then went on to realize that TNX's team name had in fact been changed on the group's multiple profiles, now indicating that the team would be going by 'The New Six'.

Since TNX's debut, it's true that the team's name stood for "The New Six". However, many fans surprised and confused by the sudden change without any prior notice from the group's agency, P Nation. 

Some commented, "What's wrong with this company's attitude? Shouldn't they give some kind of explanation?", "It's a combination of The Boyz, NewJeans, and AB6IX...", "It's fine that they changed it, but there should be some kind of official notice", "DAY6, AB6IX, NewJeans... The New Six...", "I always got TNX and NTX mixed up", "They probably changed it because there were too many other teams with similar names, but if you don't announce the change then how will fans know? They might go on using the old name to congratulate the boys on their anniversary", and more. 

Meanwhile, The New Six most recently held comeback promotions for their 2nd mini album, 'Love Never Dies'.
