JYJ Jaejoong's label releases statement on his previous tax issues

JYJ Jaejoong's label C-JeS Entertainment has released a statement on his previous tax issues

On March 9, C-JeS Entertainment released an official statement on Jaejoong's past tax issues in 2020 when he had to pay an additional 100 million won ($75,715.74 USD) following a tax investigation by the National Tax Service. The new statement comes in the midst of multiple tax evasion controversies by celebrities like Kwon Sang Woo and Lee Byung Hun

The agency stated, "During his tax investigation in 2020, some of the revenue from his activities in Japan was omitted, which resulted in additional taxes, and he has paid 100 million won in additional taxes. At the time, he reported tax on sales and paid dutifully, but there was a time difference in the settlement process between traveling from Korea and Japan."

C-JeS Entertainment explained, "Some of the amount he reported as necessary expenses was judged as unrelated to the business, so after confirming additional tax, he paid immediately. This was only due to the difference in interpretation of tax law that distinguishes between business and private expenditures, and there was no intention of tax evasion whatsoever."

Kim Jae Joon is almost 38 years old why is his company releasing media announcements with pictures as if he is 20?

I love his smile, it reminds me of Taeyong of NCT 172.

Issues a statement now over something that happened in 2020.

I know some companies can be late on statements but that's gotta be a new record.
