K-pop idols are known for their impressive performances, with their music and dance skills captivating audiences worldwide. However, some K-pop idols have also made their mark in the acting industry, gaining recognition for their acting abilities and becoming popular. In this article, we will discuss some of the female K-pop idols who are more popular as actresses.

Bae Suzy

    Bae Suzy is a former member of the girl group miss A. She made her acting debut in 2011 in the drama "Dream High," and has since appeared in several popular K-dramas, such as "While You Were Sleeping," "Vagabond," and "Start-Up." She has won numerous awards, including awards at the KBS Drama Awards, the MBC Drama Awards, and the SBS Drama Awards.


                Eugene

                  Eugene is a former member of the legendary 90s girl group S.E.S., who has gained immense popularity for her acting. She made her acting debut in 2002 with the drama "Loving You," which earned her the “Popularity Award” at the KBS Drama Awards. "Save the Last Dance for Me," "The Penthouse: War in Life," "A Hundred Years Legacy," etc. are some of her other works as an actress.

                  What’s the measure of success for female kpop groups? I’d argue with the exception of Hello Venus and Gugudan all these groups were quite successful.
