The official website for Star Wars has released an exclusive interview with solo artist Kang Daniel. An avid Star Wars fanboy, he has become the first K-pop idol to be featured on the page. In the interview, he answers several questions such as which Star Wars movie is his favorite, which Star Wars LEGO set he is currently working on, whether he would join the Jedi or the Sith, and more. Previously, Kang Daniel has expressed his love for Star Wars multiple times, being a huge movie lover. In an interview with MTV he expressed that he has drawn inspiration in his music from scenes of spaceships shooting at each other, and in another interview with Cosmo Philippines he said Star Wars “changed his life” and made him want to become a movie director. He also had a fun discussion about Star Wars with director Kim Yoon Jin (Our Beloved Summer) at the 2022 Seoul International Drama Awards. He has even released a science fiction music video for his song Ready to Ride that draws influences from Star Wars, particularly the concept of podracing.

In other news, Kang Daniel is gearing up for the North American leg of his 'First Parade' world tour, starting in New York City on March 3 and visiting several stops in the United States and Canada, ending in Los Angeles on March 18.
