On December 28, a representative of Song Joong Ki's agency High Zium Studio clarified earlier reports, which stated that the actor auditioned for a BBC series with help from his reported girlfriend, Katy Louise Saunders.
According to High Zium Studio, "Song Joong Ki did not audition for a role in a BBC series. He held a meeting with a BBC affiliate. There are no specific discussions under way, but should he receive an offer for a good production, he will review it."
Previously, some media outlets claimed that Song Joong Ki began preparing for an audition for a BBC series shortly after wrapping up his tvN series 'Vincenzo'.
