HYBE and Geffen Records have announced new audition dates for their upcoming girl group!
On December 3 KST, the two major music labels revealed official dates for on-site auditions in England, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. According to the official guidelines, applicants should be aged between 15-19 (16-19 in the EU) and go by she, her, or them pronouns. Those auditioning for the vocal and rap categories must prepare one song a capella, while dancers will be asked to freestyle.
As previously reported at the end of last year, HYBE Labels has kicked off a collaboration project with Geffen Records, owned by Universal Music Group (UMG), in the form of a global pop girl group debut. In regard to the move, a representative for HYBE America stated, "With our local training system in the United States, organized by HYBE and UMG, we will discover the best global female artists and go beyond the boundaries of location, culture, and genre."
