Mnet has issued a statement of warning against fraudulent voting for the '2022 MAMA Awards'.

On November 4, Mnet announced,

"In order to ensure that the voices of K-Pop artists and their global fans who are cheering on and supporting their favorite artists can be reflected properly, please follow appropriate voting practices. The 'MAMA Awards' will also do its best.

Currently, at every stage of voting taking place via Mnet Plus for the '2022 MAMA Awards' including voter registration, to selection of artists, and submission of votes, there are verification processes to guarantee fair and transparent voting. 

Additionally, through the monitoring of the voting process, all votes suspected of being fraudulent will be deleted during the final tally.

So that global K-Pop fans can also witness the voting process, voting data is being updated in real time.

The winner of the 'Worldwide Fan's Choice' will be determined by combining data from Mnet Plus, Spotify, Twitter, and YouTube. 

Once again, we ask that all fans follow proper voting practices so that the voices of K-Pop artists and their supportive fans can be captured fairly in the voting for the '2022 MAMA Awards'." 

Meanwhile, the '2022 MAMA Awards' is scheduled to take place from November 29-30 at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.
