IST Entertainment has issued a statement regarding The Boyz's departure from 'UNIVERSE.'

On October 28, IST Entertainment claimed that the 'UNIVERSE' platform announced the discontinuation of The Boyz's engagement with the app. Fans who subscribed to the app for Private Messaging with the artists have expressed discontent regarding the sudden news. 

In particular, the platform had made the announcement just a week before its cancellation and refused to reimburse the subscribers for the rest of the month.

According to the agency, the platform made the announcement without any notice or prior agreement with the company. The agency revealed that they tried to communicate with the application about a month before the expiration of their contract but never received a response.

IST Entertainment also stated that they are currently looking into the situation and apologized to the subscribers for the inconvenience.

According to the netizens, other artists such as SF9 and Yerin have also recently left the platform. Some believe that these departures may be related due to some internal reasons currently undisclosed.
