Heo Sung Tae from 'Squid Game' to return with a new thriller drama series

Actor Heo Sung Tae from 'Squid Game' will be returning with a new thriller drama series.

According to media reports on June 27th, Heo Sung Tae has been cast as the infamous con artist in the upcoming thriller drama series. 

The upcoming drama series 'Criminal Chronicle' (tentative title) is based on an actual case of fraudster Cho Hee Pal, the biggest scam in modern Korean history. Heo Sung Tae will be playing the main villain in the upcoming drama series. 

In related news, actor Jang Geun Suk has been offered the role of detective, however, he has yet to accept the offer. If he accepts, the viewers can expect new chemistry between Jang Geun Suk and Heo Sung Tae.
