aespa to hold their first showcase in Japan

On June 1, SM Entertainment announced 'aespa Japan Premium Showcase 2022 ~SYNK~'. 

The showcase will officially mark aespa's first ever time greeting their Japanese fans, and will take place from August 6-7 at Yokohama's PIA Arena MM. 

Meanwhile, aespa plan to release their 2nd Korean mini album 'Girls' on July 8, launching simultaneous promotions in South Korea and the U.S. The group most recently dropped a pre-release track "Illusion" on June 1 at 12 AM EST, surprising fans.
