'Love ft. Marriage & Divorce' actress Lee Ga Ryeong confessed that she was actually born in 1980, not 1988.

On May 4, the interview with Lee Ga Ryeong to celebrate the end of the popular CHOSUN TV drama 'Love ft. Marriage & Divorce' was released.

During the interview, Lee Ga Ryeong explained, "I'm actually born 1980, in the year of the monkey," and drew attention and shock from netizens. This is because she is actually eight years older than her official age, which was known through her profile.

Lee Ga Ryeon went on to elaborate, "When I used to be a model, people would change their age to whichever would be fitting for a gig. So that information was posted online so it became official without my knowledge."

She went on to further explain that she didn't have a chance to edit her profile information or have a chance to explain during a press conference because of her long hiatus and being without an agency.

She then explained that she was able to edit her profile after she joined a new management agency. She explained, "I was concentrating on filming 'Love ft. Marriage & Divorce' so I didn't get a chance to look over these things. I didn't even think I would be able to join an agency. But when Season 3 ended, I found a company and was given a chance to talk about this."

Meanwhile, Lee Ga Ryeong debuted through the SBS drama 'A Gentleman's Dignity' in 2012 and appeared in various other dramas thereafter.
