BTS's V becomes the 1st Korean act to have 3 OSTs surpass 100 million streams on Spotify

Kim Taehyung solidifies his position as 'King of OSTs' with his latest achievement as a soloist.

V's duet song with fellow BTS member Jin has now surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, one of the largest streaming platforms in the world. 

The OST was for the 2016 Korean drama series 'Hwarang: The Poet Warrior' where Taehyung also debuted as an actor and played the youngest hwarang 'Hansung.'

With this, Taehyung becomes the 1st Korean act to achieve more than 100 million streams on three OSTs. 'It's Definitely You' is his third OST to hit the milestone after 'Sweet Night' and 'Christmas Tree.' 

He also leads the list among Korean male soloists with the most songs surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify. 

Including his three solo songs under BTS, which are 'Singularity,' 'Inner Child,' and 'Stigma,' Taehyung is also the first Kpop idol to have six solo songs hit the 100 million stream milestone on Spotify.
