Earlier this week, speculations arose that NMIXX member Sullyoon had a photo of MONSTA X member Shownu as her phone wallpaper, after being photographed by fans while holding her phone. 

Netizens carried out various speculations on online communities, discussing whether or not the blurry image shown on Sullyoon's phone screen resembled the photo of Shownu with a black hood over his head. 

Soon after the issue became a hot topic, it seems that Sullyoon herself felt the need to clarify the misunderstanding, and shared the actual image that was shown on her phone, a side profile photo of herself. 

Seeing Sullyoon's photo update, one netizen further explained, "It's not a wallpaper. It's a widget on the iPhone. If you have that widget on, it automatically shows randomized photos from your phone gallery." 

Others also commented, "That doesn't even look like Shownu at all", "Sullyoon isn't an idiot. She would never have a photo of a male idol out in the open like that", "The amount of cheek that is shown is totally different", "Why would Sullyoon have a fansite photo of a male idol on her phone like that...", and more.
