NCT's Jisung is the first member of his group to test positive for COVID-19

NCT member Jisung has tested positive for COVID-19, according to SM Entertainment on April 30. 

The agency relayed in an official statement on this day, "Jisung has tested positive for COVID-19 as of April 29. Jisung, who has completed up to his third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, is not displaying any abnormal symptoms other than a mild sore throat. Jisung is currently self-isolating after halting all of his schedules."

SME added on, "The remaining NCT Dream members have all tested negative in their rapid antigen tests." 

Previously, NCT garnered attention from netizens for being the only K-Pop group to not have any members who had contracted COVID-19 in the past 2 years. Now, as of April 30, Jisung is the first of his group contract the virus.
