Park Jimin pleasantly surprised fans by fully participating in April fool's Day this year.

BTS recently flew to the United States in time for the Grammys and PTD Concert in Las Vegas. While waiting for Jimin's OST, Jimin decided to give fans a hilarious surprise that will go down memory lane.

On the 1st of April, popularly known as April Fool's Day, Jimin decided to join in pranking fans. BTS Jimin took to Instagram to replace his profile picture with that of his Boss and HYBE CEO Bang Shi Hyuk on his bio was also written, The Father of BTS.

Jimin extended his onslaught to BTS' official Twitter account, which he dominated. He changed the account's display name to 박지민 (jimin park) and updated the bio with 아무튼 박지민 (anyway Park Jimin). The profile picture was also replaced with one of Jimin's adorable baby photos and the header with a fansite photo of him showing a finger heart to fans at a concert. According to fans, the header was searched up on NAVER and was originally taken by Jimin fan site Slow but Steady. Additionally, Jimin left a sweet and cheeky explanation of what he had done with the tweet. "I don't know how to change it back anyway I don't know."

Jimin's pranks were like a breath of fresh air to the fans who were caught unawares. They expressed their confusion as to what had conspired, admitting that, indeed, Jimin had tricked them. As a result, Jimin quickly became a trending topic on Twitter worldwide, with PARK JIMIN trending at #3, Jiminie #24, and BABY JIMIN #25. In the United States, PARK JIMIN trended at #4 and BABY JIMIN at #27. In total, there were 21 keywords trending simultaneously on Twitter, including I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, HES SO FUNNY, PERO JIMIN, Oh Jimin, Not Jimin, jimin pfp, OMG JIMIN, and more. JIMIN JIMIN went on to amass over 1 million mentions.

On the South Korean social forum, The Qoo, a post in the hot category, gathered more than 50K views and over 400 comments. Netizens have been discussing his Instagram and Twitter April fool's antics, with most of the comments talking about how cute he is; they include:
