Ever since the start of K-pop, there has always been a rivalry between different fandoms as the fan have constantly been in competition with fans from other fandoms.

These feuds have continued to various online communities as some fans have taken to the web to support their favorite group. Recently, one netizen created an online community post pointing out that some Big Bang fans have been mentioning BTS in the comment section for various YouTube videos of Big Bang.

The netizen who created the post explained, "I'm not an ARMY, but I am writing this post because I hate people doing this nonsense in the YouTube comment section. This video is actually G-Dragon's live performance video, and they start mentioning BTS when no one was even comparing the two. Also, they (Big Bang fans) attack people who mention G-Dragon in comments that don't seem to be problematic."

The netizen included captures of the comments that were left by alleged Big Bang fans who kept mentioning BTS and comparing the two groups. These Big Bang fans would undermine BTS while praising Big Bang for being the better group.

Comment: "Wouldn't that be GD? Of course, V definitely has crazy visuals and is good at singing and dancing, but he doesn't have as much influential power as GD. I think the order of artists that let K-pop be known is Seo Taiji, Big Bang, and then BTS." 

Reply comment: "I don't know who that is...yeah...if you must..."

Comment 1: "During this time, they were compared to EXO. These days, they're compared to BTS. Doesn't mean that they (Big Bang) are still at their peak because other groups are being compared to them despite the generation change?"

Comment 2: "Right now BTS is number 1. In 2010, EXO was number 1. GD was also number 0."

Comment 1: "Man, wow, lol. I live in Europe but this is the real thing, lol. There are occasionally kids who listen to BTS but they're all losers, lol. You can see them like the loser kids in Korea who listen to Japanese music lol. Everyone hates them, they're seen as Psy or that PPAP guy. GD is seen as the hottest singer among Korean singers, and he's seen as a model. People hate those who listen to BTS more than how Koreans hate people in Korea who listen to Japanese bands. EXO-people don't know who they are, they're popular in China."

Comment 2: "This is how exactly this is. In Korea, they're (BTS) is treated as world-class, but not that many people who know them. Maybe because people don't know what losers listen to and not all losers listen to them."

The other fans would write, "How can people think BTS can be compared to GD...Without GD, BTS would not be world-class and even the word K-pop would not have been formed...GD is a person who can control everything like music, general culture, fashion, and trends..." "There are a lot of comments mentioning BTS; we can't deny that BTS is a world-class boy group but then GD is completely separate from that, he is like the trendsetter who leads in fashion, music, and culture not only in Korea but all throughout Asia. If BTS is a worldwide boy band, then GD is a trendsetter. Not everyone wants to be like BTS and make music like BTS but everyone wants to copy all fashion and music that GD wore and did. There was no one who had that much influence over the public and garnered that much public attention," "I'm sorry to BTS fans but what I am saying is would you dare compare BTS to GD? lol" and "GD faces all of BTS every day. GD facing all of BTS already shows that he's much better."

However, the netizens who gathered to the online community where these comments were shared criticized that some of these fans who constantly compare Big Bang to BTS seem to have an inferiority complex. Netizens commented, "If someone reads these, they're going to think GD made K-pop lol. They should just compliment Big Bang and praise them; why do they seem to have a complex over them? Why even bring up BTS? lol," "This is like saying without H.O.T, there is no Big Bang," "They attack BTS so bad and they say they're not fans, geez," "But these fans, do they have something against BTS?" "You don't ever see BTS fans bringing up Big Bang in their videos, why are Big Bang fans bringing up BTS?" and "But seriously, if you look at all the Big Bang videos, they always have comments that attack BTS."
