On the evening of March 9, actress Lee El shared sad news through her Instagram.
She wrote, "My father passed away a little while ago. We have decided not to hold a funeral given the current situation. Please pray for us in your heart."
Lee El slowly began receiving recognition and left a strong impression in the hit drama 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God'. Thereafter, she appeared in various other dramas such as the OCN drama 'Black', tvN's 'A Korean Odyssey' along with various films such as 'Inside Men' and 'The Call.'
Recently, it has been reported that she has chosen JTBC's new Saturday and Sunday drama 'My Liberation Diary' as her next project.
