Singer/actor Lee Ji Hoon has tested positive for COVID-19.
On February 10 KST, the press conference for the new film 'Idol Recipe' was held in Seoul. Here, the starring leads Bae Woo Hee, Kim Na Yeon, Kim So Hee, Kenta, Jongup, and Yoo Ho Yeon attended the event. However, Lee Ji Hoon, who plays the role of the manager Bae Jae Sung in the film, was absent due to testing positive for COVID-19. Director Lee Ho Seong stated, "Due to COVID-19, the cultural arts are having a difficult time. Actor Lee Ji Hoon was unable to attend today due to testing positive for COVID-19. Despite the difficult situation, we will work hard to achieve a good score."
Jupiter Entertainment, Lee Ji Hoon's agency, stated, "[Lee Ji Hoon] received his positive test results on February 9. He has completed his 2nd dose of vaccination. He sensed abnormal body conditions and voluntarily took part in self-isolation. He also consistently underwent an at-home rapid test kit a total of four times and tested negative each time. However, his temperature rose to 39 degrees [Celcius] and realizing the seriousness of his situation, he underwent a PCR test and received positive test results. His current physical condition has improved a lot."
Meanwhile, 'Idol Recipe' is a youth music film that depicts the story of an unknown idol group called Bella, a group on the verge of disbanding and being sold to another company by their manager. Struggling through conflict after conflict, the members learn to work together as one team to achieve great things. 'Idol Recipe' is scheduled to be released in March.
