Seoulites are waiting in line for hours just to undergo COVID-19 testing.

According to Kukmin Ilbo, people in Seoul have been waiting an overage of two hours to get tested for COVID-19. Many who decided to step out to get tested during their lunch hour had to wait inside the car and extend their breaks.

Outside the testing facility in Songpa-gu, potential testers had to get in a line that was 400 meters long. The line formed a circle around the hotel located behind the district office of Songpa-gu. Seeing this line, a citizen remarked: "Gosh, staying in line for over 2 hours? I am so fed up."

On December 4 KST, the number of new COVID-19 cases reached a peak of 5,128. Due to this rise, the maximum number of people for private gatherings will be 6 in capital cities for the next four weeks in South Korea, regardless of vaccination status.

In contrast the test centres in England are absolutely empty. In a recent visit to a local one that could easily accommodate 20 simultaneous tests, I was the only person there during the entire 20 minutes I was on site. This explain the shockingly high covid infection rates over here which pisses me off as people don't seem to give a crap about masks and social distancing over in England.

Oh boo hoo! I waited for four and a half hours for one of mine and I know plenty of people who've had to wait longer. It is what it is. When there's outbreaks testing facilities get pushed to their limits.
