On September 28 KST, actress Baek Seo Yi took to her personal Instagram to reveal the chilling truth behind her recent marriage rumors. 

Baek Seo Yi wrote on her personal Instagram the following:

"I experienced a really chilling and scary incident recently.

I found out that a person whom I trusted for a long time went around telling lies about me.

He is a person I met while working, and I received an absurd DM (Direct Message) from his friend. [The message said] that he and I had been in a relationship since 2019, planned to get married, and had already confirmed a date for our wedding. After the truth was delivered to me that he has been lying to his acquaintances for many years, telling them he was going to be married to me, I was extremely shocked and dumbfounded. So, I asked for the truth in detail, and after I saw the photos and messages sent by his friend, I became extremely scared. I have never been in a relationship with him nor promised to marry him. The shock was even greater because he was someone whom I had trusted and considered a good acquaintance of mine for a long time. If there is anyone who heard that I was getting married, this is very far from the truth.

I am uploading this in case there are others, in addition to his friends, who think that I am getting married due to the false rumors being spread.
