FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki joined the "South Korean Foreigners" program and returns to the entertainment industry after his discharge from the military.

According to the media outlet StarNews on April 25, Lee Hong Ki joined the filming of MBC Every1's "South Korean Foreigners" entertainment program on April 23 at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

This is the first news that Lee Hong Ki has appeared on an entertainment program since his discharge from the military. Lee Hong Ki, who enlisted in September 2019 and was actively serving in the army, was discharged on April 18, not returning to his military unit after leaving for his last leave as per the Ministry of Defense policy measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Later, he announced the news that he would star in the musical '1976 Harlan County' and announced that his activities were resuming in earnest.

Meanwhile, 'South Korean Foreigners' is an entertainment program in which 5 Koreans and 10 foreigners residing in Korea compete in a quiz about the Korean language and Korean culture. This recording of the 'South Korean Foreigners' program was adorned with a special feature of 'Hong Line.' Singers Yoon Ji Sung, Yulhee, and Yoo Hwe Seung, including Lee Hong Ki, joined as guests and held a quiz. The program is scheduled to broadcast on May 19th.
