All seven members of GOT7 have decided to pursue their individual activities for the time being after none of the members renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment. 

It was a bitter-sweet moment for fans when GOT7 announced that all the members will not be renewing their contracts with the company. Fans were glad that each member can pursue their dreams and further spread their wings in their music careers but were saddened that they will not be able to see the boy group together for the time being.

Many fans and netizens have been saying that even though the group did not officially disband, the situation is no different since it would be difficult for the members to promote together in different companies.

Recently, GOT7's leader JB logged on to Instagram Live to take the time to talk to his fans. During the live broadcast, JB once again stressed that GOT7 did not disband and will continue to look for ways to work together in the near future. He comforted his ahgases and assured fans that the members' friendship could not be easily separated.

He clarified that he will continue to promote JUS2 and GOT7, reiterating that the group did not disband. Hopefully, fans will be able to see GOT7 together sooner than later.
