MONSTA X turn down offer to join 'Kingdom' lineup

MONSTA X have officially turned down an offer to join the lineup of 'Kingdom'.

After reports of MONSTA X joining the competitive music series, Starship Entertainment confirmed on January 22, "After a lot of deliberation, MONSTA X have turned down the offer to join 'Kingdom'."

As previously reported, 'Kingdom' has confirmed The Boyz, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ as part of the competing lineup, while TVXQ's Yunho and Changmin will be hosting the show. iKON, BTOB, and SF9 are also in talks.

The upcoming season of 'Kingdom' is expected to premiere by April of this year. Stay tuned for updates!

Understandable... Shownu is 29, he was just a judge in MNet Cap-Teen.

It would be strange if he joined the competition against 10 years younger guys...

I think astro should join like true beauty is filming their last ep right now by the time kingdom starts in April eunwoo can go back and practice with the members it would just make sense they would get more recognition by being in this program and then they could have a successful comeback afterwards
