ROSEGOLD Are No Longer Calling Themselves K-Pop, They Are K-Pop Inspired Now

The rookie girl group ROSEGOLD went on Facebook to address that they’re no longer considering themselves K-Pop, but K-Pop inspired.

The girls heard criticism from the K-Pop community and took it to heart, changing themselves to K-Pop inspired. With this new change, ROSEGOLD has changed their tracklist and only have a few Korean songs, before it was all Korean.

The girls in the group are named: Bombi, Xi, Aisha, Eunbyl, Kisun, and Chaesoo with a few of them being Asian/ Asian-American and had trained since 2018 as a group.

They also have 2 upcoming comebacks. One in October 2020 with their creepy concept and one in 2021 with their pastel-horror concept and the 2021 comeback also has a feature film coming in 2023 and it’s labeled as alternative music.

What do you think about this change? Do you think it was good how ROSEGOLD listened to the criticism?

Honestly, it annoys me more that this article is calling their debut a comeback.

Their plans are extending all the way to 2023? That's certainly optimistic.
