On December 27th, Irene came as a special MC at the '2019 KBS Music Festival,' along with comedian Shin Dongyup and GOT7's Jinyoung. As usual, Irene glowed with her visual, elegantly showed off her natural beauty in light makeup.
However, one thing that stole attention was her extravagant diamond necklace.
It was belatedly revealed that the necklace costs approximately KRW 270 million (~USD 232 thousand). So far, it's the most expensive necklace ever worn by Korean celebrities.
Previously, the most expensive one was the necklace from the fine jewelry brand Chaumet that was worn by Song Hyekyo for the brand's campaign. Song Hyekyo wore a necklace worth approximately USD 180 thousand from the Joséphine Aigrette Impériale high jewellery collection.
