Kang Daniel celebrates 100th day solo debut milestone with DANITY by crafting 100 handmade diffusers

On November 1, Kang Daniel celebrated his 100th day anniversary as a solo artist. Daniel made his solo debut on July 25 with “(뭐해) What are you up to” from his debut album color on me.

At night, Kang Daniel took to V LIVE where he completed crafting and packaging handmade diffusers for fans. Known to be sensitive to smells, he conveyed that the decision to make diffusers was so fans could remember all the good events that happened over the course of 100 days by something more than words or videos: by a fragrance. The fragrance bases he chose remind him of the smell when he first walks into KONNECT Entertainment's building and a warm and soft smell that reminds him of DANITY. The combined smell, according to him, gives the same feeling as walking in crisp weather and stepping on crunching leaves during late autumn.

He made 20 diffusers during the hour-long V LIVE, answering fans' questions while he worked. Regarding his Seoul fanmeeting, he said to look forward to the large play area for his November 22-24 exhibition days and that he “will prepare many things for the stage so please look forward to it."

He concluded the live with, "To walk with me during this time and to cheer on my path, I want to thank you so much.”

Afterwards, off camera, he continued the work to make 100 diffusers total. Fans will see further instructions on how to receive a diffuser on KONNECT Entertainment’s website.

Kang Daniel also hopped on his fancafe and left many answers to messages from fans.

In turn, Kang Daniel’s fandom DANITY donated 9,612,100 won and supplied 128 blood donations to the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation in Daniel’s name to celebrate the special occasion.
