Back on April 13, the upcoming 'SMTOWN Live 2019 in Tokyo' revealed its official poster, also announcing the lineup of attending artists.
The poster includes the following SM Entertainment artists: TVXQ, SHINee's Taemin, BoA, EXO, NCT 127, Girls' Generation's Yuri, Taeyeon, and Hyoyeon, J-Min, NCT Dream, f(x), Super Junior, Red Velvet, and Kangta.
What stood out glaringly to SMTOWN fans everywhere was that the poster includes a 4-member photo of girl group f(x), while other artists such as Girls' Generation's Yuri, Taeyeon, and Hyoyeon, as well as SHINee's Taemin, were seen listed individually.
As many of you know, f(x) have been on an unofficial hiatus since the release of their 'SM Station' single "All Mine" in Korea, as well as '4 Walls/COWBOY' in Japan - both releases from 2016.
Many netizens are questioning whether or not this means a long-awaited reunion of the 4 f(x) members for a comeback, commenting, "f(4) please please please...", "If it's not f(4) I'll sue you", "Please give f(x) a comeback TT", "Are they playing with us...", "f(x) comeback before August?!", and more.
Meanwhile, the annual 'SMTOWN Live 2019 in Tokyo' is expected to bring never-before-seen collaboration stages, under the theme 'Fantasia Express'.
