Dialects are just another reason why fans love their K-Pop idols. All around Korea, there are many different dialects, including the Jeolla dialect. Whenever idols speak in their hometown dialects, they melt the hearts of fans in an instant!
WINNER’s JInwoo was born in Imja Island, located in South Jeolla Province. Whenever he speaks in his adorable dialect, he shows fans a completely different (and attractive) aspect of himself!
BTS’ J-Hope is not ashamed of his upbringing in Gwangju, Jeolla Province. In fact, he likes to show off his unique Jeolla dialect, as shown in BTS’ song, “Satoori Rap!”
Youngjae comes from Mokpo in South Jeolla Province, and it certainly shows whenever he indulges fans with his adorable Jeolla dialect. Some fans are even disappointed when he doesn’t use his dialect!

MONSTA X’s Hyungwon is a native of the Jeolla Province and steals hearts everywhere whenever he uses his dialect. He spoke in his Jeolla dialect on ‘Weekly Idol’ and during promotions for MONSTA X’s “Alligator.”
Dino is no exception to the list of idols with the sweetest dialects. He’s from the city of Insane, located in the North Jeolla Province, and frequently jokes around with his members in his dialect.
