Top Misheard Lyrics that were COMPLETELY off (2018 edition)

K-pop is known for the thoughtfulness and melodic tune of its lyrics. But language will always remain a barrier between Korean speakers and non-Korean speakers when it comes to K-pop. Despite the slight variations and understanding of the songs, we still adore K-pop in its entirety.

Here are some moments from songs released in 2018 when we misheard the lyrics that are completely off from what the idols meant.

1) BTS "Fake Love"

Every time I hear this song I can't help but hear Jin say "I just snow I just snow, I just Snow White." And then during the chorus, you can't deny it sounds like Jimin is saying "I'm so sorry but it's freaky love," and Jungkook and V saying "Liar so bad" and "Now you're so mad." But my all time favorite is when you hear RM say "Why you suck" instead of "Why you sad" but that could just be me.

2) Seventeen "Clap"

It can't JUST be me that hears "Chop chop chop" instead of "clap clap clap" right?

3) iKON "Bling Bling"

During Junhoe's part, it sounds like he's saying "Young one. So chewing gum that's me.

4) EXID "Lady"

Around the 2:25 mark it sounds like the girls are saying "Naked, go naked. You are my pee pee.

5) BTS "Idol"

During Jungkook's solo part, it sounds like he's saying "I love myself. I love my family, my kids, and my wife."

6) Black Pink "DDU DU DDU DU"

YG's popping girl group really killed it with this song. But even this song has some potential misheard lyrics. Around the bridge at 2:40 it sounds like Lisa is saying "take a wall take a wall like fire.

7) Pentagon "Shine"

Around 0:52 it sure sounds like they're saying "digital digital."

8) WINNER "Everyday"

Song Min Ho's bit during the chorus sounds like "Which You Which You Which You" and "Whip Me Whip Me Whip Me" or is it just me?

9) MOMOLAND "Bboom Bboom"

When I first heard this song, it really sounded like they were saying "wrong debut" instead of "rendezvous" around 0:26.

10) Jennie "Solo"

We all know what we heard. But to be clear she's saying 빛 as in light not what you think you're hearing.

For me I knew Jennie was saying 빛 but I feel like Teddy did that on purpose knowing it clearly sounds like B!tch to the foreign ear, also it fits perfectly in the line not like saying a random swear word

Seventeen aren't saying "Clap clap clap clap" they're saying "jjak jjak jjak jjak" which is the equivalent of a sound effect for clapping, but not actually saying the word "clap"
