[SPOILER] Which Hollywood actor called himself 'America's Kim Gu Ra' during his appearance on 'Mask King'?

AKP STAFF

Another American celebrity has found their way to the stage of MBC variety program 'Mask King'!

On the January 6 episode, 'Golden Pig' performed a cover of Radiohead's 1993 hit single "Creep," their identity concealed by a mask that celebrates the new year.

From the moment 'Golden Pig' began singing, the panel could quickly identify that it was someone from another country, but had difficulty pinpointing exactly who. Nevertheless, they were impressed by the passion of his performance.

Later, on the January 13 episode, 'Golden Pig' revealed themselves to be none other than Korean-American Hollywood actor Ken Jeong.

During the reveal interview, he introduced himself by both his English name and his Korean name, Jeong Kang Jo, and jokingly stated, "I am you." to Kim Gu Ra when it was explained that he currently is a main panelist on the new U.S. version of 'Mask King.'

It was also revealed that Ken Jeong had been wanting to appear as a contestant on the Korean 'Mask King' far before the American version came out.
