Song Min Ho reveals his former agency didn't give credit for his work and took his royalty payments

SONG MIN HO

Song Min Ho shared about his days of hardship.

On the January 31 airing of SBS' 'I'll Win You Over With My Channel,' Song Min Ho and P.O. joined as the guests.

Song Min Ho, who was originally preparing to debut in Block B, made his debut in the group BOM instead. He explained, "My debut in Block B fell apart due to contract issues, so then I entered and made my debut under a startup company. At the time, I couldn't even dream of winning 1st place on music shows. We had a party just for the fact that I was able to go on a broadcast."

P.O. commented, "During the time of Min Ho's debut, we ran into each other on the day Block B won 1st place. All the members cried so much. We couldn't even perform." Song Min Ho said, "Block B members were watching my stage and it felt weird. Zico hyung cried a lot."

P.O. then revealed, "At the time, Min Ho wrote the lyrics but the company registered someone else's name for the royalty."

Song Min Ho explained"I mention my former company in my song 'Fear.' I didn't even earn a dime there. I wrote the lyrics to 5 songs in the mini album but my name didn't even go up and they talked as if not putting my name is normal."

that company was always messed up. they didn't even pay the Block B a single cent for 2 years after their debut and then their CEO fled with the money.. Block B still didn't win the court case. its just sad how idols can be so easily taken advantage of.

Its not the one Block B left. Mino was in two separate companies before he signed with YG, Stardom and Y2Y Contents. The company who didn't pay him is the one he was in after he left Block B (Y2Y). Block B left their debut company (Stardom) later on due to mistreatment and signed with Seven Seasons.

a lot of agency take advantage of rookies thinking they dunno how things work in the entertainment business and do things like delay payment or make changes in the contract and such. there needs to be more legal protection for such victims

Mino went through so many things and it's really makes me happy seeing him do well and able to smile happily now. + Mino and Block B friendship is so loveable 🌸

the fact that Minho debuted under a flop group and got picked up by a Big 3 label shortly afterwards will definitely always be something for the history books

I remember watching an interview with Zico where he said he's only cried in front of Block B twice, and one of them was when he watched Mino debut in a different group, because they couldn't be together. Its so sad. I'm glad they're both in a place where they're happy now.
